Reunity Resources is a New Mexico based non-profit committed to building community partnerships and implementing zero waste programs. We are the sole non-profit recycler in the Santa Fe and northern New Mexico region and one of few in the nation. It is our goal to continue building long term relationships with local government, schools, institutions, and private businesses in order to minimize our waste streams and maximize our re-use.
Our BioFuel Collective reduces 500 tons of CO2 from our atmosphere annually, keeps cooking oil grease out of the waste water treatment plant, reduces consumption of fossil fuels, and closes the loop.
Having successfully established our used cooking oil-into-biodiesel program, we moved into commercial food scraps collection. We now divert 1.4 million pounds of food waste ANNUALLY from the landfill which is the equivalent of a 162,000 pound CO2 reduction.
Together we can make sustainability the rule rather than the exception in northern New Mexico and beyond. If you would like to help us in our efforts or just learn more about what we do, please contact us. Reunity Resources is, above all, a community endeavor, and we look forward to hearing from you.
