Reunity Resources is a New Mexico based non-profit committed to building community partnerships and implementing zero waste programs. We are the sole non profit recycler in the region and one of few in the nation. It is our goal to continue building long term relationships with local government, schools, institutions, and private businesses in order to minimize our waste streams and maximize our re-use.
In two and a half years our Biofuel Collective program has eliminated 300 tons of CO2, kept cooking oil grease out of the waste water treatment plant, reduced consumption of fossil fuels, and closed the loop by recycling 42,000 gallons of spent fryer oil into biodiesel.
Having successfully established our used cooking oil-into-biodiesel program, we are now launching a commercial food scraps collection program and creating compost from what would be wasted organic material.
Together we can make sustainability the rule rather than the exception in northern New Mexico and beyond. If you would like to help us in our efforts, or just learn more about what we do, please contact us. (The link is at the top of the page.) Reunity Resources is, above all, a community endeavor, and we look forward to hearing from you.
