Commercial Food Waste Collection

Through our Commercial and Doorstep Food Waste Collection services, we divert 1.6 million pounds of food waste from the landfill annually, offsetting the carbon impact of cars on the road. Adding in the manure, wood waste and yard waste we compost, we prevent nearly 4 million pounds of organic matter from rotting in the landfill each year – where it would produce toxic methane.

What happens next is regenerative alchemy: these wastes become valuable products that further pollution reduction and sequester carbon. We compost this food waste at scale in aerated static piles to create a nutrient-rich compost efficiently and effectively. Our rich, fertile soil amendments are available to hundreds of local landscapers, home gardeners, and dozens local schools and community gardens.

We provide 2, 64-gallon wheeled carts with compostable liners for 2x per week pickup by our truck (just like a normal garbage service).
